About me

I was born on 10th July, 1959 at Nathdwara. I did my schooling from Bada Bazar School and Sanskrit School, Nathdwara. I started my entrepreneurial activity at very early age, when I was in class sixth as small time businessman cum worker. The sole target behind doing own activity was to become self-dependent. I continued doing business and job with my studies. It was quite difficult at times, because without any infrastructure and financial support, survival in business becomes very tough and demanding.

I tried many business along the path to Miraj as selling namkeen , selling plastic bags and even putting up a pav bhaji lorry in a partnership with my friend, even worked as an accountant. Meanwhile Igot a government job as LDC in education department Rajasthan. So dueto the government job, I got a feeling of security towards family. That was the time when I started looking for a business, by which I can contribute towards betterment of society and where I could achieve my goals for life. Story of Miraj Tobacco started in a very casual and sudden manner, oneday when I was returning in bus, I was offered tobacco, that offer showed me my way towards “MIRAJ”. That day I decided about having my own tobacco brand with all necessary hygiene and quality.

I struggled a lot for my aim and had to face many hurdles such asinadequate capital and material, inadequate infrastructure. In my life I got to meet less of reliable people and more of intelligent people. But I firmly kept by belief in the motto that “nothing bad can happen with you, if you are good with others without any motive. And almighty showered his blessings on me and Istarted a firm in name of “Miraj Zarda Udyog” in the year 1987. Initially all plant and machinery was developed in-house by myself.

Life as everyone knows, is always taking exams and asking questions. I also got some hurdles but as after every night, there is clear day with bright sunshine, so I also got new opportunities after every problem. I met numerous persons along this path of life, many came and left, but there are some persons, who are my strength and they are still with me and will remain so.
